Stone Pillow has opened for artists such as
Chriss Hopper, Kurios, and Lost Coin. Stone Pillow
compares their sound to the likes of artists such as
Pink, No Doubt, Supertones and Skillet. They mix
pop, dance, ska, classic rock, reggae, and punk to
come up with their signature "Pop Ska" sound. This
sound is characterized by strong pop/rock vocals,
and guitar riffs blended with dance rhythems and
big brass runs. Stone Pillow performs songs That
are written from the heart. Songs that focus on
hope, the power of prayer, and a God that loves us.
These songs come from personal struggles. Lead
singer and song writer Matt Norton's battle with a
liver disease recently led to him receiving a liver
transplant. This experience has renewed his vision
to bring the message of hope to a world surrounded
by crises.
